Now into the third generation of the iconic AK range, the 3G AK37 was the first into production with the updated features.  Now constructed with a fully welded, lighter body that has a composition of 40% Kevlar / 60% Cordura (compared to 28% Kevlar / 72% Cordura of the previous generation).  The minimalist design with its clean lines and feature-set remain unchanged.

This incarnation of the bag could be considered generation 3.5 as the AK range now comes with a roll top closure providing an even more robust, fully submersible waterproof backpack for some of the most extreme conditions you can get into.    

The baby of the range, the AK37 is frequently used by owners of one of the larger AK models as a companion for all their non-mountaineering activities, such as cragging, multi-pitch rock, back-country skiing, canyon hiking, or any other abusive activities that normal day packs won’t handle.
