In Situ Climbing is an independent outdoor shop with a focus on climbing and mountaineering. Based in sunny Dunkeld we are right on the edge of the Scottish Highlands completely surrounded by the incredible outdoor adventure playground that is Highland Perthshire.
We aim to provide a source of quality equipment and clothing for all the glorious disciplines of climbing, mountain supplies for upland outdoor pursuits and as local end-users, (hopefully) all the information and knowledge to help anyone get the most out of a visit to the area.
Order What You Need
As an independent, we are very flexible with the products we stock or can get - if there is something that you’re looking for that we haven’t stocked or shown on the website please get in touch, we can usually order and get it in your hands pretty quickly. Equally if you have any questions or need more information about any of the products or brands, we would love to help you find what you need.
From the shop we also provide a variety of other not-only-for-climbers services.
The Therapy Room was established along with the shop in 2016 to provide relaxation for the weary traveller, respite for the pain sufferer and a pick me up for the disillusioned.
It has grown to now offer a range of therapies including Remedial and Sports massage, Swedish massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapies and Explain Pain sessions.
Grounded in a thorough understanding of exercise of physiology, pain science and human interaction, together we can figure out a strategy and provide you with advice for self-management.
Book in for any treatment and you'll get a friendly and informative session, no bold claims or false promises and (hopefully) leave you with a spring in your step.
We have a mixture of classes and services for your individual objectives and needs including but not limited to - bespoke training plans, 1-2-1 training sessions and physiological testing. Get in touch by phone, email or social media for more information.
