Crux 3G AK 47-X (2015)
The Crux AK47 bag was launched in 2002, it remained unchanged for over a decade - a testament to its enduring appeal for it ruthless functionality, enduring construction and aesthetic simplicity. 2015 saw the dawn of the 3rd generation of design, the AK47 has an increase in Kevlar content at 40% (up from 28% Kevlar / 72% Cordura). A fully malleable and removable titanium frame provides form, while the bag benefits from an all welded construction for complete water resistance.
This bag, the AK47-X, like the 47, has identical features and function with the exception of an added floating lit to increase the load capacity - a configuration preferred by many mountaineers.
