Crux rucksacks are renowned for being lightweight and robust. The AX range of backpacks continue this tradition. Similar in design and features to the prestigious Crux AK range - the AX series is constructed using a Dyneema ripstop fabric (specially developed for Crux) which is then sewn together (rather than the welding on the AK bags)
The AX30 is the smallest and simplest of the AX range and is designed as a very compact, lightweight, yet robust climbing sack for mountaineering and alpine rock routes. It is a traditional top-loader with a simple lid design that features a small flat pocket for valuables such as a phone and wallet. It has no side compression system, although one can be rigged up with cord if desired.
The shoulder straps are padded, but there is no waist belt as such, just a 25 mm webbing strap. Most of the AX30’s features will be familiar from the AK range.
The AX30 is available in only one, unisex back length.
